Dark Link (sometimes known as Shadow Link), is an alternate shadow form of Link. While Link is a hero and works for good, Dark Link sometimes works for the likenesses of Ganondorf, Link's enemy. Dark Link is a somewhat popular character in the Zelda series, even appearing in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. In his first appearance, he is seen helping Ganon's army to stop Link from getting to Zelda, wanting to go as far as killing Link.
