History[]

Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness []

One year before Cyberbots was started, Jin's father, Ken Saotome, was killed in in an accident at the unit he worked for. Jin, in honor for his father, joins Cyberbots a year later (21 years old at the time) and vows to become the best VA pilot (Valiant Armor pilot). A VA pilot controls a mech and fights other mechs with it. Jin uses the BX-02 Blodia, which was used by Rash in the game's prequel. After meeting his father's murderer, Shade, Jin starts to question his father's death. After one final battle with Shade, Jin defeats Shade's mech and Shade remembers what really happened. He reveals that he was going to be turned into the perfect soldier, stronger than anyone, but instead, he was turned into a monster. He also mentions that Ken, Jin's father, was his best friend, and he deserves to die, since he's in debt. After this, Shade dies. Jin just wanted revenge in the first place, but he wasn't expecting what happened. At the end, Jin meets Gawaine, who insists they go home, while Jin says that all he wanted was revenge, to kill the one that killed his father.
