Pac-Man is the main protagonist in the Pac-Man series and is one of the most recognizable video game characters on the planet. Toru Iwatani's original intentions for the character name was "Puck-Man" but Namco later changed this since the P could easily be switched with an F. Pac-Man became very popular for its style and maze-like appearance, as well as Pac-Man himself, leading to a whole series of games.

History Edit

Early life (Pac 'n Roll) Edit

Though Pac 'n Roll wasn't the first game release-wise, it was the first game canonical to Pac-Man's life. He was first trained under Ms. Pac-Man's father, Pac-Master, when he was a young pac-person. The more he was trained, the more he grew closer to Pac-Master's family and his daughter. All was well until the Power Pellet Harvest Festival. The pac-people were attacked by Golvis and his magic guitar Jack. Behind their backs, Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde were summoning the great ghost Golvis for the Harvest Festival. Krystal, was able to defeat Golvis temporarily, but only had time to rescue Pac-Man. Krystal asks the young Pac-Man if he can help her save Pac-Land, since he is the land's only hope. He agrees and the two make it to the base of the ghosts, defeating Golvis and restoring peace to Pac-Land and the pac-people.

Pac-Man Edit

In Pac-Man's first appearance release-wise, Pac-Man defeats a group of ghosts when trying to escape a giant maze, eating things like pellets and fruits.
