Samus Aran is the main protagonist in the Metroid series and is the main heroine. She was born on Earth Colony K-2L but raised on Zebes. She is one of the most popular video game characters and one of the most popular video game heroines, first debuting in Metroid for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986.
